Old Mackinac Point served as an important marine landmark on the Straits of Mackinac for 65 years. On this tour, an Historic Interpreter will guide you through the grounds of the light station, examining the reasons for a lighthouse at that location, the history and use of the buildings, the keepers that served at the house and their families, and the life of the lighthouse after it was decommissioned. Tour starts outside the Fog Signal Building at the wooden benches.
